Suzuki Philippines takes the spotlight at the Makina Moto Expo 2025, showcasing the brightest and most exciting booth at the event. Ready 4 Play with a line-up of the brand’s high performing bikes, Suzuki pumped up the pleasure revealing the highly anticipated Suzuki DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM. Coming from the line’s international launch in EICMA last November, 2024, Suzuki flew in the test units from Japan for this exclusive preview of the latest evolution in dual-sport and supermotard engineering. Suzuki showcases the seamless integration of cutting-edge technology, exceptional performance, and its enduring legacy of reliability in the DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM.

Building on the rich heritage of the iconic DR-Z400S, which debuted globally in 2000 and earned acclaim for its nimble handling, versatility, and rugged performance, these next-generation motorcycles are designed to bring decades of trusted durability into the modern era. In 2005, Suzuki expanded the lineup further with the introduction of the DR-Z400SM, a street-tuned supermoto that captured the hearts of urban riders seeking sharper on-road performance. Now, the DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM arrive, offering Filipino riders an enhanced riding experience with more power, control, and agility for the perfect balance of off-road adventure and on-road excitement.
The DR-Z4S is designed for off-road enthusiasts, featuring a new pipe-steel twin-spar frame that enhances stability and agility across rugged terrain with IRC dual-purpose tires offering superior grip for both off-road and on-road conditions. Its upright riding position and optimized chassis geometry ensure comfort and control during long rides and trail explorations. Meanwhile, the DR-Z4SM is designed for riders seeking street performance with 17-inch wheels & IRC tires optimized for the street promising exceptional traction & cornering precision, perfect for city streets and supermoto tracks.
Both models feature the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) featuring advanced technologies, including the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS) and Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS), which includes a Gravel mode for off-road riding. The Ride-by-Wire electronic throttle system ensures smooth and responsive acceleration. The front and rear disc brakes with switchable ABS, offer enhanced safety and adaptability for various riding condition while the LED projector headlight and sleek bodywork emphasize the modern and aggressive look of these machines.
Suzuki executives hinted the arrival of the DR-Z4S and DRZ-4SM within the year. While specifics are still not divulged, riders are all thrilled for the new models to be on the selling floor. Also displayed at the Suzuki Hub are the Master of Adventure bikes V-STROM 1050 DE, V-STROM 800 DE, and V-STROM 250 SX, the street models GSX-S1000, GSX-S1000GT and GSX-S1000GX and sportbikes led by the iconic Hayabusa, GSx-8R, GSX-8S, GIXXER SF155 and GIXXER 155 showing the brand’s diverse line-up of motorcycles perfect for any type of rider. Suzuki continues to push the boundaries of performance and innovation with its vast array of products.
